Darren DurouxJSR is pleased to announce that the Matthew Annabel of UCD's, Landscape Architecture Program is the 2012 JSR Student Scholarship recipient. Mr. Annabel’s project, Goldline Fault studied the methods in which a transit oriented development could connect divided neighborhoods. The design sought to seek community convergence through use of landform, water and history in public space. Submittal >>

JSR Student Award Competition
The JSR Foundation awards scholarships to students who demonstrate a passion for preserving, improving and enhancing public spaces through responsible and innovative land use and design. To be eligible, students must be currently enrolled in an accredited landscape architecture program that will result in a Bachelors or Masters of Landscape Architecture. A monetary scholarship is awarded each year to one deserving student. Students are required to submit a design brief for review by the JSR board.
Application
Students who embody Jane Silverstein Ries’s commitment to the sprit of place are encouraged to enter the scholarship competition. We are now accepting submittals for the 2012-2013 school year.
